At its core, the injury lawyer should never lose sight that he/she is representing real people with real damages.
The approach of the lawyer differs considerably from the approach of a surgeon, for example. A surgeon should be dispassionate and unemotional when tackling his/her task. Although you need your lawyer to be candid with you, that should never come at the expense of passion and enthusiasm for your case. When lawyers ply their trade, it seems to me, that they have an obligation to do it with a certain zeal. Believe me, that message will be conveyed to the judge, jury and any of the other players in your personal injury case. After all, if the lawyer who represents the client acts as if he/she doesn’t care, why should anyone else?
